Hello! I am Megs, 21 years old and I live in central Texas. I have spent 13 years of my life as part of the Girl Scouts of America so community projects is not a stranger to me. I love a wide variety of subjects such as the creative arts such as writing and theatre as well as hard science such as biology and also history and anthropology. I am currently majoring in anthropology with a focus in archaeology. I am currently studying at a community college due to the fact that I was changing my major (previously biology) but I have intent on returning to university specifically Texas A&M if I can. Since it is still summer, I will have quite a bit of free time though when the fall comes around I will be a bit more busy with school. However with help I am more than willing to get things going and start projects and lead them if I need to. I love a bunch of different things like Harry Potter, Sherlock, Doctor Who, Supernatural, etc. I generally love Sci-Fi and Fantasy.
Last year I started a hopefully yearly tradition of volunteering at Austin Comic Con with plans on moving up. By the way cons would be a wonderful way to promote the organization and activities.
I hope I did this right.

Hey Megs! I love writing and theatre too, actually hoping to be in a school production of West Side Story this year so fingers crossed. Your experience with community projects sounds really useful, I shall definitely bear that in mind Ahh, we seem to share quite a few fandoms! Sounds like you're definitely someone that I could get on with. Jealous of you going to a Comic Con. I intend to go to one either this year or the next, hopefully with my friend Jenni who is actually the one who introduced me to Star Trek. That's a really great idea! We should definitely explore it. Never fear dear you did it perfectly!

Yeah, we definitely share fandoms. My top pick college is also Texas A&M in the forestry department! Next in line for me is University of Georgia.
