I just happened to stumble across a wonderful master post of links for helping people learn languages here. I'll certainly be using it. Anybody else here interested in learning languages? What resources do you use?

If anybody has an android phone, there is a fairly cheap app called Dual Lingo that helps one learn a wide range of languages. Both my mom and my brother have used it to learn Spanish.

Memrise is pretty good too, and they have a free app associated with their site as well. Additionally, there's Duolingo, and they have a free app (for android only, that I know of) as well.

Livemocha is a completely free website that helps to learn languages as well as give you chances to record yourself speaking so native speakers can correct your pronunciation. I highly recommend it!

I have an android so that's good news for me Installed both of those apps, thanks for recommending them! That is a seriously useful site! Bookmarked for future reference, thanks for sharing
