Obviously if we want this thing to get going we need to let other people know about it. So how do you guys think we should go about doing that? Should we start clubs on our school campuses? Maybe start some threads on other forum sites? What do you think?

Starting threads in other places is a good idea! I also think as there's such a big star trek community on tumblr that it's worth spreading the word over that, too. We could also slowly raise our profile my mentioning the FO when we do carry out charity or community work, in the hopes that it will interest people and they'll come to check it out. Any other ideas guys?

As I stated in the thread in the Starfleet Initiative page, I actually already do have a club that I could invite to join! Also, we could make a Facebook page!

Alright, I can go ahead and start setting things up right now. I've been working on finding all copyright documents I can so I can work on a logo design, if that's okay with you.

Has anyone besides yellowshirtedchekov put this info in the trek tag on Tumblr? Now that the engines are running maybe we can get more people in to help us move along on there.

In that case I encourage us all to do so, (and also tag them with the starfleet initiative and federation outreach so people tracking those tags can get an idea of what scope we're getting?) |
